Flexible logistics to France and Germany

With Redhead International

One of the UK’s leading independent logistics companies, Redhead International, who have a depot in Bristol, is experiencing growing demand from companies in the South West looking to export to France and Germany.

The demand for the company’s services has been particularly strong from businesses looking to transport between 1 and 4 pallets internationally.

Redhead’s depot in Bristol, which opened two years ago, has a daily service to both France and Germany – the service to Germany is 48 hour door-to-door. Redhead also provides an on-line tracking service for shipments.

Germany particularly, remains one of the most successful international markets for many UK companies, with economists predicting 2% growth in 2014. Like the UK, Germany’s economy has remained an EU strong point.

Redhead services include RedNet, a pallet service for companies whose shipping needs may not be big in volume, or regular in frequency and RedDirect, a groupage service offering economical transit right across Europe for consignments of any size, shape or type.

Commenting on the demand for the company’s RedNet and RedDirect services, Tony Suggitt, Redhead’s managing director said, “Bristol and the South West has been an important part of the company’s plans since we opened the office in Bristol, in 2012. To see demand for our German and French services growing, despite the recession, is really positive.”

He added, “A growing number of companies in the South West are looking for an alternative flexible logistics provider, we hope we can be that company.”
