UK-based heavy lift and project cargo specialist Allseas Global Logistics has expanded its team with the appointment of Colin Howell as Project Coordinator.
Colin has joined Allseas from Maersk Line, bringing with him 24 years of experience covering almost every aspect of the shipping industry – most recently working in Maersk Line’s break bulk division as pricing manager for OOG (out of gauge) cargo.
Based in Allseas’ Tilbury office, Colin will be assisting Project Manager Des Nott in generating, planning and handling the major project work for which Allseas has built itself an enviable reputation.
“Coming to Allseas is an exciting new opportunity for me,” said Colin. “I can use the experience and skills I have gained in my career so far and apply them in the specialist area of project cargo. Allseas has a reputation as a very strong and efficient company, which makes sure every job is done the right way.
“A real pull for me was that Allseas is expanding and looking to grow, while maintaining its position as a top quality provider. It was important to me that my own experience was put to good use.”
There is every reason for Allseas to continue to expand, in response to increasing demand for its services worldwide, said Colin.
Mark Binge, Commercial Manager of Allseas Global Logistics, said: “We are delighted that Colin has joined our team of professionals and we know that his experience and strong motivation will be a major asset for Allseas.
“Our services are in increasing demand, thanks to a busy market and our unrivalled expertise and experience in handling the most difficult, challenging and time-critical transportation tasks. We look forward to another successful year ahead.”
