Priority Freight, a leading global provider of contingency logistics solutions, has strengthened its position in the European market by opening a new office in Madrid, Spain.
This provides a base to better serve local clients by adding speed and flexibility to their supply chains, as well as direct access to a global transport and manufacturing hub. Priority Freight’s Spanish team is led by Santiago Tejedo, who brings a wealth of freight experience from his time as Airfreight Manager at Altius Spain, as well as the Renault Group.
Joining the team are several experienced members from the UK offices, including the Spanish air freight specialists. The Spanish office is also recruiting to find local logistics experts to join the new operation that will be supported by Priority Freight’s global network.
Neal Williams, Group Managing Director at Priority Freight, commented: “Spain is the second-largest vehicle manufacturing country in Europe. We feel now is the right time to establish a permanent home in the country, especially with Brexit potentially causing our clients to make changes to their supply chains. Regardless of the referendum results, we will continue to deliver the goods, because that is what we do, and the Madrid office will help us to do this.”
“As the main hub for the Iberian Peninsula, Madrid provides the ideal location to serve our clients by land and air. With added flexibility and speed, we are able to provide first-class services from on board courier to charter delivery, thanks to the new office.”
