Leading European customs and trade solutions provider Customs Support Group has appointed seasoned supply chain professional Keiron Myall as managing director for its UK and Ireland business.
Keiron, who took up the role at the end of February, is a highly-experienced logistics leader and specialist with more than 30 years’ expertise in the logistics, transportation, parcel delivery and supply chain sectors.
His career to date has seen him lead global blue-chip organisations, Government supply chains and logistics companies, bringing a track record of driving growth, operational excellence, cultural change and customer satisfaction.
His experience spans work with corporates, public sector and private equity-backed ventures, with roles managing complex operations across multiple countries and regions.
These include management of the UK government’s Covid testing supply chain operation and involvement in international humanitarian logistics responses, providing critical aid to locations impacted by natural disasters.
Keiron said: “I’m delighted to be joining Customs Support Group at such an exciting time for the business, as it continues to expand its footprint across the UK and Ireland.
“My leadership style focuses on motivating and developing teams, developing growth strategies, putting the customer at the centre of everything and driving financial and business improvement.
“These are qualities I hope to bring to all aspects of my role to help drive the business forward as it continues to grow.”
Customs Support Group CEO John Wegman said: “Keiron joins us at a time of significant growth for our business and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role.
“We recently added an official hub in Norway, our 14th country across Europe, and are continuing to roll out our services to more companies digitalising the customs and trade element of their supply chains.
“Keiron’s people and customer-focused leadership style is a perfect fit and we look forward to growing and developing together over the coming years.”
Keiron will be representing his new employers at the Logistics UK Supply Chain Resilience summit on March 19, held at the America Square Conference Centre in London.
He will take part in a panel discussion on achieving resilience in international supply chains.
Customs Support Group is the main sponsor of the event, which will set the stage for industry leaders to explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the logistics landscape today.
