General Logistics receives additional government funding

On National Logistics Day, the British International Freight Association (BIFA) has welcomed the news of additional government funding for the Generation Logistics campaign that was launched in 2022 to help raise the profile of the freight and logistics sector and attract a diverse range of individuals into the roles available to people from all backgrounds, experience and skills.

Director General, Steve Parker says that the trade association will continue to be a supporting partner of Generation Logistics.

“The work being done by Generation Logistics complements much of what BIFA is doing to identify and attract the next generation of logistics professionals into roles within our sector. From our Young Forwarder Network, and Freight Development Pathway, to our campaign to encourage our members to work with schools to promote careers in logistics, forwarding and the supply chain.”
