CML team up with Hacche to help local school after break in

Warehouse and logistics expert, CML, came to the rescue after John Wycliffe Primary School in Lutterworth was affected by a break in.
With the help of their client, Hacche, the companies donated new children’s books to replace those taken during the summer holidays, with Hacche donating a number of books and toys to CML to give to a cause of their choice.
After reading about the incident, Phil Perkins, General Manager at CML, spotted the perfect opportunity to put the kind donation to good use, gifting almost £1,400 worth of books and games to the school.
Letisha Harbidge, CML’s HR Advisor, joined Phil Perkins in visiting John Wycliffe Primary School to present the books to Head Teacher, Mrs Vickie Njoroge.
She commented: “The staff, pupils and PTA would like to say thank you to CML for such a generous donation of books and games.
“Some of the books will go straight into the classrooms and the remaining items will be used by the PTA as prizes to raise funds for the school. We really appreciate donations such as these, as they help to provide those little extras to enrich the children’s learning, so we are very grateful.”
Perkins added: “We’re passionate about helping the local community and when we heard about the sad news at the primary school, we were more than willing to help in any way we could. Working with Hacche meant that we were able to make this happen, and we would like to say a huge thank you for their kind donation.”
