Maritime Cranes division

This Liebherr division is represented in the maritime goods handling sector by ship cranes, floating cranes, offshore cranes, container cranes, mobile harbor cranes, reach stackers and other material handlers specially designed for use in ports.

Use in ports and at sea

Liebherr supplies a wide range of high-quality maritime cranes for all types of goods handling in ports and at sea. The products include ship-to-store container cranes, rubber-tired and rail-mounted gantry cranes, straddle carriers, mobile harbor cranes, reach stackers, ship cranes, floating cranes and offshore cranes. The activities in these areas are combined in the Maritime Cranes product division. Liebherr-MCCtec GmbH in Nenzing (Austria) is responsible as the divisional controlling company for this product division.

Production in Europe

The Maritime Cranes division’s products are manufactured at four plants in Europe: Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH (Austria), Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. in Killarney (Ireland), Liebherr Sunderland Works Ltd. (United Kingdom) and Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH (Germany). A full international service network ensures qualified customer service at every operational site along with the supply of original spare parts.
