Viracopos competes for best cargo airport

Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas, São Paulo, is a finalist in the Cargo Airport of the Year category in the 2024 edition of the Air Cargo Week World Air Cargo Awards, which will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, in China, on June 26.

Viracopos is the only Brazilian airport competing for the award. The World Air Cargo Awards is one of the world’s leading awards in the field of air logistics and recognizes airlines, airports, freight forwarders, brokers, sales agents in general, and logistics service providers.

The winners are chosen through a vote to be held by the people who work directly or indirectly in the sector. They can only vote by using corporate email addresses, in other words, they cannot vote using email addresses such as Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail, for example. A total of ten categories will be awarded, including Best Cargo Airport.
