Visitor numbers soar ahead of Multimodal 2024

Thanks to a full conference programme boasting industry leading speakers and a sell-out exhibition, this year’s Multimodal has seen a 33% increase in visitor registrations. Taking place from 11th to 13th June at Birmingham’s NEC, Multimodal brings together businesses, thought leaders and associations from across the supply chain industry, where the most outstanding firms and individuals are also recognised at its annual Awards.

The ongoing popularity of Multimodal has also driven an increase of 17% in exhibitors. Organisers have seen a spike in attendance from shipping lines, technology providers and warehousing solutions providers. All aspects of the transport, logistics and supply chain industries are present – to help cargo owners find faster, more resilient, and sustainable ways to get their products to market cost-effectively.

Guy Opperman MP, Minister for Roads and Local Transport will share a review of the Future of Freight plan on the opening day, with Bill Esterson MP, the Shadow Transport (Roads) Minister also speaking in the Logistics Theatre. With only a few weeks to go until Multimodal 2024 opens its doors, Event Director Robert Jervis is encouraging visitors to make the most of the event, commenting: “Each year Multimodal increases in popularity, from the number of people registering to attend, to pre-booking of exhibition space and of course the three-day conference programme.

“Multimodal is unique in that it brings together the supply chain industry under one roof. As a result, we are seeing registrations from visitors who live outside of the UK who are investing their time to make the most of the event.

“There are plenty of networking opportunities and thanks to our broad conference programme, visitors can keep on top of what’s happening in the industry. I would encourage anyone thinking of visiting to book their free ticket now.”
